Mia from the Straight and Curly Facebook group asked a question that summed up a topic that seemed to be very front of mind for many fellow group members:
I know friendships morph over time and with age and seasons of life, and I know friendships can take many forms, but I’m always curious how other people’s adult friendships work. How often do people speak to or see their friends? What constitutes a best friend? Is the idea of a best friend as an adult ridiculous? What do you expect of a friend and how do you know when you measure up as a good friend to others?
This made for a super-interesting conversation as Kelly and Carly chat about their own personal friendship situations + how they navigate the friendships they have with people who have kids versus those who don’t. They also chat about how to end friendships that have run their course.
